During Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, ATM public transport will still be in service but with slightly reduced hours.
School travel will be suspended on suburban lines on Thursday March 28, Friday March 29 and Tuesday April 2. On Friday March 29 and Tuesday April 2, urban lines will follow the Saturday timetable with the exception of numbers 4, 9, 14, 16, 24, 27, 40, 43, 49, 50, 54, 56, 57 , 58, 94, 95. and 98, which will follow the normal schedule from Monday to Friday.
On Saturday March 30, lines 39, 55, 89, 171, 175, 176, NM1, NM2, NM3 and suburban lines (no school trips) will follow the normal Saturday timetable. Lines 172 and 174 will not work. All other lines will, however, follow the timetable for a public holiday.
On Sunday March 31, Easter Sunday, all surface lines will follow a normal public holiday timetable. The exception is certain lines, which will follow a holiday schedule scheduled for Easter Day only: these are tram 3, tram 14, tram 27, bus 77, trolleybus 90 and trolleybus 91, while the lines Suburban routes 171, 172, 174 and 176 will operate until approximately 1 p.m. On Monday April 1, Easter Monday, all lines will follow normal public holiday timetables. Lines 171, 172, 174 and 176 will operate until approximately 1 p.m.
The subways
On Saturday March 30, all lines will follow the normal Saturday timetable. On Sunday March 31, Easter Day, lines M4 and M5 will follow the normal public holiday timetable, while lines M1, M2 and M3 will follow a public holiday timetable scheduled for Easter Day only, available on the Atm website . .
On Monday April 1, Easter Monday, all metro lines will follow normal public holiday timetables. The Gobba-San Raffaele light rail will, however, be closed on March 31. To reach the hospital, use bus 925 which stops in via Olgettina, in front of the entrance. On April 1, the metro has public holiday hours: from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Night buses, vending machines and interchange parking lots
Night buses operate normally on the nights of March 29-30, March 30-31 and March 31-April 1. However, all vending machines are closed on Sunday March 31 and Monday April 1, while car parks operate at normal hours for the Easter bank holiday and Easter Monday.
