The concert, which will take place on the city’s patronal feast day, next June 29, was presented this Tuesday to complement the performances scheduled in San Pedro de Zamora, which will also include free performances by the P orchestra.anorama on June 27 and Rodrigo Cuevas on the 30; and another paid Camela concert on the 28th.

The tribute concert to the music of the 80s will take place at the Ruta de la Plata Auditorium and will include, in addition to Celtas Cortos and La Guardia, the performance of a group that covers Radio Futura, Héroes del Silencio and El Último de la Fila and two DJs who will play music from the era.

Tickets for the concert began to go on sale online at the promotional price of twenty euros for the first thousand places.

The festival councilor of the municipality of Zamora, David Gago, assured that the scheduled concerts aim to cover all audiences and that the festivals constitute “an economic boost for the city”.

The poster for the 80s festival was presented on Tuesday, when it was revealed that part of the profits would be donated to the Autism Spectrum Disorders Association of Zamora.

The tribute festival to the 80s has the motto “return to the place where you were happy” and includes on its poster the symbol of the legendary Zamora nightclub Ramses II.

The musical performances on June 29 will be closed by the Celtas Cortos de Valladolid and beforehand La Guardia will take the stage, as part of their fortieth anniversary tour.
