A deer ended up in the river. This happened today, March 28, in the bed of the Lura River in Rho. The animal ended up in the watercourse near the football fields on Via Terrazzano. The incident was reported to the local Rho police who arrived on scene with a few officers.
After understanding the extent of the situation, the fonts contacted the Rho firefighters and the ATS veterinary service in Milan. The deer actually hid and then moved in different directions, making it difficult to try to get him to safety.
The frightened animal was put to sleep with a narcotic. Once sedated, it was possible to transport him out of the river and then leave him free in his habitat: Groane Park.
