An unprecedented Berlusconi, young, even very young. Netflix is ​​ready to launch the docuseries about the founder of Forza Italia in a “new” form. The trailer for “The Young Berlusconi” opens with an interview with a very young Silvio, conducted by Mike Buongiorno who asks him: “You take care of a lot of things, distribution, publishing , cinema, football, construction, how do you do it? I know, but has it ever occurred to you to go into politics?” And the future Prime Minister’s response: “I am a man of action, so what I know how to do well is be an entrepreneur.”

The documentary series directed by Simone Manettie will be released on Netflix on April 11. Produced by B&B Film in collaboration with the German production company Gebreuder Beetz Filmproduktion and the Franco-German channel Zdf Arte, the docuseries is made up of three episodes which retrace the stages of the life of Silvio Berlusconi in the pre-political era. The project is co-financed by the Lazio Region, by the Media program of Creative Europe and also carried out thanks to the MiC tax credit.

The images will show the beginnings of the young Berlusconi, from the 1970s until the 1994 elections which established him as a politician, putting aside his long career as an entrepreneur. There will be no narrator, but witnesses who knew the Knight capable of telling new anecdotes, stories never told before.
