The 17-year-old student with behavioral problems who stabbed one of his teachers at school will be tried immediately in Milan juvenile court. The attack took place on February 5 at Enaip Varese, with a 10-centimeter folding knife that he had brought from home.
The hearing, which will pass the GUP filter as requested by the prosecution with certainty of reconstruction of the facts (certain colleagues of the professor witnessed the attack), is set for July 5. The charges against him are attempted murder and illegal possession of a bladed weapon, the juvenile prosecutor’s office also accuses the 17-year-old of the aggravating circumstances of premeditation, frivolous motives and having acted against a public official.
The student threw three punches at the teacher’s back, one of which ended up injuring a lung fortunately deviated from a vertebra. She was taken to Circolo di Varese hospital and underwent emergency surgery. The teacher, 57, is still recovering. The motive would have been the proposal to fail the student who was following a personalized study path. Proposal then withdrawn in agreement with the family.
