The heating will soon have to be turned off. In Milan, the last day on which radiators will be turned on will be April 8, a date decided by the Municipality of Milan which anticipates the closing day decided at national level by about a week. In fact, the municipal administration, by ordinance, defined last October the dates for switching on and off the heating also according to the level of pollution in the city.

According to national legislation, the switching on of heating in Milan would take place between October 15 and April 15. The maximum temperature allowed in homes is 20 degrees for a limit of 14 hours per day.

On April 8, we will therefore have to say goodbye to heating and with it to the winter season. Certain public buildings which follow different rules are excluded: nursery schools and nursery schools, hospitals, RSAs and clinics.
