A leaflet found in the courtyard warned of the possible presence of an explosive device at the school. This is how the bomb threat was triggered at the ITT in Milan, on the morning of Tuesday March 26. Police officers from the anti-bomb squad intervened on site, at the industrial technical institute and the Ettore Molinari scientific high school, in via Crescenzago, shortly before noon.

Students, administrative staff and teachers are evacuated and police experts begin cleaning operations of the school building. Fortunately, the agents’ checks gave negative results: there was no bomb, as confirmed by the Milan police station. Immediately afterwards, the school day resumes normally. The police are now investigating to understand the origin of the false alarm and thus identify those responsible.
